National Membership
"FCCLA has a national membership of over 175,000 young men and women in more than 5,300 chapters. FCCLA chapters span all 50 states including Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Since its founding in 1945, FCCLA has involved more than nine million youth. Former members and advisers are eligible to become members of Alumni & Associates."

Fairbury Membership
FHS FCCLA welcomes all members in grades 8-12 to join our large group of motivated young men and women to be strong leaders in our families, careers, and communities. Through our chapter, members participate in educational activities to explore careers, learn about family relations, and how to make a difference in our communities, all whiles having fun.
From 2016- Present our membership as grown by 66%. With this large increase of 22 members in the past few years, our chapter has been able to do a lot more in our school and our community. We welcome our members every year with a recruitment party and open meetings to invite anyone and everyone.
Members that earn their way to the State Leadership Conference, either by qualifying in a competition or by earning 100+ points, participate in a fun activity paid for by the chapter. In the past years we have done an escape room and gone to an arcade.
Membership Recognition
FCCLA members are so AWESOME that they deserve some lovin'!
At the end of every school year members are given the opportunity to visit Worlds of Fun Amusement park in Kansas City, MO. Students can earn a free trip, or discounted trip by earning the most money during a telethon fundraiser, or being elected member and new member of the year. ​Any member that has accumulated 100+ points by the end of the year is welcome to come on our trip.

Top 5 point earning new members and top 5 point earning veteran members are voted on by membership to receive "Member of the Year" and "New Member of the Year" awards to show appreciation for their hard work during the school year.
By being in the Fairbury FCCLA chapter, members have the opportunity to earn points by coming to meetings, being on committees, wearing their chapter shirt to events, or competing in STAR.
